Nancy P. Songer

Nancy P. Songer, 54, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday June 19, 2018. She was born on December 10, 1963 to William and Dolores (Redd) Myers in Muncie Indiana.

Nancy was a member of the Corner Stone Community Church. She worked for Anderson Community School Corporation in food service. She enjoyed taking care of her grandkids and was a devoted mother to her children. Having a huge heart for giving, she also gave life to others by being a tissue donor at the end of her life.

Nancy is survived by her three sons; Randy (Kellie) Williamson, Robert (Dusti) Songer and Danny Songer (Hannah), two sisters; Beverly Myers and Kathy Conley; a brother Danny (Julie) Myers, ten grandchildren; Kelsey, J.J., Celina, Lindsay, Gavin, Seth, Raelynn, Robert III, Chase, and Maddy.  Her beloved dog, Buddy, will also miss Nancy.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 23 years, Barry R. Pittman, Brother Adam Lapata, two sisters, Billie Myers and Mildred Myers and a granddaughter Serienty Williamson.

A funeral service for Nancy will be held on Monday June 25, 2018 at 2:00 PM. at Parson Mortuary, 801 West Adams Street, Muncie, with Pastor Chris Hood officiating. Friends may call from 12:30P.M. until service time.
