Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. I cannot imagine your loss. I know the pain our church family is feeling. My mom, husband and myself sat behind Penny every Sunday for the last 3 years. I looked forward to talking with her every week and admiring her jewelry collection, something we both shared a love for. My husband had her number in his phone under the name Elvis, something they both shared a love of. She always made the best food and sent the leftovers home with us always saying "take this home, Mikey likes it" She and my husband loved to torment each other and he adored Penny as we all did. When I come home everyday I see her Americana collection on my porch. It means so much more to me now. Her red and white curtains are hanging in my kitchen. I pray for comfort for her family. I know how much she loved each and every one of you and she told me more than once that taking care of Easton kept her going. She was a beautiful person and we were blessed to have known her.
