Muncie-Peter Paul Szabo, 70, passed away early Tuesday morning, April 5, 2011, following a brief illness. He was born on September 22, 1940, in Nagykata, Hungary the son of Paul and Vaci (Hermina) Szabo.
Peter married the love of his life, Nancy (Booker) Szabo on September 25, 1965 in Crete, Illinois and she preceded him in death on December 9, 2007. He had been a painter for 35yrs having owned and operated his own business known as Peter Paul’s Painting and Exquisite Decorating. Mr. Szabo retired in 2002. He had worked on some projects for the Habitat for Humanity and loved gardening and painting pictures as well.
Surviving is a son, Attila Szabo (wife-Natalie), St. John, Indiana, a daughter, Bianka Szabo, Paducah, Kentucky; two grandsons; a brother, Imre Szabo (wife-Ershie), Hungary.
Besides his wife of 42 yrs, Nancy, his is preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation has taken place. A private family memorial service will take place at a later date.
