Richard Lee Anderson

Muncie- Richard Lee Anderson, 82, passed away Sunday afternoon, February 11, 2018, at the Indiana University Ball Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.  He was born on February 25, 1935, in Selma, the son of Isaac W. and Mary G. (Vining) Anderson.

Mr. Anderson had attended Selma city schools and later worked for Ball Memorial Hospital in the House Keeping Department for 32 years prior to his retirement in 1999.  Richard was a member of the Abundant Life Fellowship Church and loved going to church and fellowshipping with his church family.

Survivors include one sister, Janice J. Collins (husband-Michael), Muncie; several nieces and nephews.

 He is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Charles, Lewis and David Anderson.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 16, 2018, 1:00 P.M. at the Parson Mortuary with Pastor James Day officiating.  Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery north of Muncie. 

Friends may call at the Parson Mortuary on Friday, February 16, 2018, from 12:00 P.M. until service time.
