Muncie – Ricky Lee Sheets II, 37, went home to be with the Lord and his mama on Friday, December 13, 2013 at St. Vincent Hospital surrounded by his loved ones.
Ricky was born in Muncie on April 22, 1976, the son of Kathy Modglin and Ricky Lee Sheets, and was a 1994 graduate of Southside High School.
Ricky was a very giving and caring person who was always helping someone.
Survivors include his wife of 3 years, Andrea Kaye Sheets; his father, Ricky Lee Sheets, (wife-Cynthia); his daughters, Pamela Sheets, Shiann Sheets, Kaitlyn Sheets and Kylie Sheets; a stepdaughter, Caitlin Stephens; a son, Ricky Lee Sheets III, a stepson, Mason Staton; two brothers, Steven Sheets, (wife-Jennifer), Jayme Burris, three sisters Vicki Sheets, (partner-Brent Craycraft), Amber Rasar and Jamie Lynn Bonshire, (husband Stephen); a special uncle Paul “Beaver” Sheets; a special aunt, Jeri Campbell, (husband-Timothy); eight special cousins, Jason Strunk, (wife-Stacy), Johnny Sheets, Michael Sheets, Robin Newell, David Curtis, Tambra Fields, Ceaser Curtis, and Elizabeth Dobbs; eight nieces and nephews; a great niece; a great nephew; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother; paternal grandparents, Betty and Cletus Sheets; maternal grandmother, Francis Coats, (husband-Kenny), and paternal grandfather, Adam Newell; and an aunt, Savonna Curtis.
Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 19, 2013, at Parson Mortuary with Evangelist, Doris Westerman officiating. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at Parson Mortuary one hour prior to time of service on Thursday.
