Robert Enochs, 92, passed away on Sunday evening, May 27, 2018 at his home in Muncie. He was born on January 25, 1926 to Ralph and Hazel (Spencer) Enochs in Pleasantville Indiana.
Robert graduated from Pleasantville High School and then joined the United States Navy in 1946. Robert was a WWII veteran serving in the Pacific aboard The USS Ringgold (DD 500). After coming back from the Navy, he married Guyulla (Albano) and had three children. They were married 25 years. He then married Barbra Tinch and they were married in December, 1979. They were married 31 years and had a daughter. Robert was a butcher for Marhoefer Meats for over 20 years. He enjoyed building houses, gardening, animals and his cat Beckham.
He is survived by his two daughters; Tami Smith (Tim) of Muncie, Robin Flowers (John) of Muncie, two grandchildren; Corey Smith, Angie Bright (Todd), four great grandchildren; Taylor, Logen, Austin and Adison, one great-great grandchild Amiyah and his beloved cat Beckham.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents, his wives Guyulla (Albano) and Barbra (Tinch) Enochs, a son; Danny Enochs, a daughter; Terry Enochs, a step daughter; Shelley Bricker, a granddaughter Manda Smith-Mooneyhan, a great grandchild Gage Mooneyhan, two sisters; Opal and Ruby Enochs, a brother Paul Enochs.
A funeral service for Robert will be held on Friday June 01, 2018 at Parson Mortuary at 1:00 PM with Pastor Dennis Trimble officiating. Friends may call from 11:00 AM and until the time of service on Friday.
Robert has asked for donations to be made to ARF, The Animal Rescue Fund located at 1209 West Riggin Rd. Muncie Indiana.
