Rodney Rainey Obituary
Muncie: Rodney L. Rainey, 60 passed away on Friday, July 6, 2018 at I. U. Ball Memorial Hospital. Rodney was born on August 16, 1957, in Muncie to Donna (Winkler) Wake and Jack Rainey.
Mr. Rainey Attended School at Southside High School graduating in 1976. Rodney was a fan of music and all sports often putting together pick-up basketball games anywhere he could find an open court. His loving and giving heart known to his family and friends only overshadowed his love of sports.
His father Jack, two sons; Rodney L. Rainey II and Eric S. Rainey, sisters; Cathena Upchurch (David), Lisa Moore (Gary), Kim Wake, Joanna Herron (Greg), and a brother Devon Wake (Rita) survive Rodney.
Preceding him in death were his Mother and Step-Father Donna and Merle Wake.
Funeral services will be held at Parson Mortuary 801 West Adams Street on Friday July 13, 2018 at 1:00p.m. With Pastor Denny Helton officiating. Burial will follow at Beech Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call at Parson Friday from 11:00a.m. Until service time.
