Muncie-Rose M. Puckett, 84, cherished wife of Rondal Elihue Puckett, passed away early Thursday morning, October 12, 2017, after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Marianne and her youngest brother Donald. Rose was an active member of the St. Francis Catholic Church of Muncie, in where she resided with Rondal. The couple celebrated their 63rd anniversary on June 26th, 2017. Rose and Rondal were married in 1954 at St. Bonifice Parish in Piqua, OH. They made multiple moves during the course of their marriage including a year spent living in France. When Rondal retired in August of 1987, they became permanent resident s of Muncie.
Rose will always be remembered for her love and commitment to her family. She also enjoyed the extensive traveling she shared with Ron and visiting family members who were scattered in various states.
Rose is survived by her husband Rondal, two sons, Randolph Puckett, Muncie and Rory M. Puckett (wife-Lorie), Ft. Wayne; one daughter, Rhonda M. Ehmer (husband-Richard), Cape Coral, Florida; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Holtgreven (wife- Annette), Melbourne, Florida and Harry J. Holtgreven (wife-Ginny), Loxahatchee, Florida; several nieces and nephews.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church 1200 W. Riverside, Muncie, IN 47303 on Monday, October 16, 2017, 10:00 A.M. Rev. Joshua Bennett officiating. Burial will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery 1625 Calvary Ave. Dayton, Ohio 45409. Parson Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
Friends may call at the Parson Mortuary on Sunday, October 15, 2017, from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M.
