Vicki Lynn Minton

Vicki Lynn Minton, 59, Muncie, passed away Monday January 21, 2019 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.  She was born April 25, 1959 in Muncie, Indiana, the daughter of Jacob Minton Sr., and Burnice (Timmons) Minton.  Vicki attended Muncie Central High School, she later went on to work in daycare due to her love for children.  Vicki enjoyed living life and she loved her fur baby, Coco Lynn, but most of all she loved her nieces and nephews.

Surviving Vicki are four sisters, Carolyn Swearingen; Joann Huser (Chuck); Mary Farling (David); and Patty Sherwood (Troy); two brothers, Clarence Minton (Shirley); and Archibald P. Minton (Teresa); her uncle, Sherman Minton; brother-in-law, Robert Brogan; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob Sr., and Burnice Minton; three sisters, Nancy McKeighen; Phyllis Preston; and Esther Brogan; two brothers, Charles Minton Sr.; and Jacob Minton Jr.; three brothers-in-law, Jim Swearingen; Fred McKeighen; Earl Preston; and a sister-in-law, Diann Minton.

Funeral services will be held at Parson Mortuary at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 28, 2019 with Pastor David Farling officiating.  Visitation will be at the mortuary from 11:00am on Monday until the time of service.

Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery.
