William J. Doggett

Muncie: William J. Doggett, 70, passed from this life on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at I. U. Ball Memorial Hospital. William was born on September 23, 1947 to  Innamary  and Ernest Doggett in Muncie Indiana.

Mr. Doggett attended school in Muncie and entered into the Navy serving his country in the Great Lakes area. He later became employed at Warner Gear, (Borg Warner) and worked 30 years until his retirement in 1995. He enjoyed fishing with family and was known to “cut a rug” with his late wife Patricia Ann on many weekend evenings.

William is survived by Two sons; William Doggett, (Wife-Deeanna) Anderson, Michael R. Doggett, (Wife-Glad) Louisville; Two Daughters; Beverly Doggett, (Companion- Gary), Muncie, Dorothy Eads, (Husband-Robb), Carmel; Two Sisters; Maude Rodgers, (Husband-Guy), Beulah Dean and two Brothers; Orville Ray Doggett (wife - Debbie), Alabama, and Eugene Webb, Muncie. He was also proud to have twenty-six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. There are also many nieces and nephews who will miss him.

Preceding him in death were his wife Patricia and his parents.

Funeral services will be at Parson Mortuary on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 4:00 PM with Eric Burton-Krieger officiating.

Friends may call at the mortuary on Saturday from 2:00 PM until service time.
