Wilma I. Williams

Muncie- Wilma I.  Williams, 88, passed away early Friday morning July 20, 2018, following an extended illness.    She was born on July 21, 1929, in Vincennes, Indiana the daughter of George and Esther Cutshall.

Wilma is a 1947 graduate of Vincennes High School and later married the love of her life John C. Williams in 1950 and he preceded her in death in 2017. Mrs. Williams became a homemaker and had worked for both the A&P Grocery Store and later for the Ball Department Stores as a cashier.  She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Eagles Lodge.  Mostly she enjoyed being with her family having reared three generations.

Survivors include her grandson, Jason Williams (fiancé-Stacey Garrett), Muncie; three great grandchildren Michael Williams, James Williams and Jennifer Williams (fiancé-Damian Gibson) all of Muncie; three great, great grandchildren, Aubrie, Ava and Sophia Williams all of Muncie.

Besides her husband of 67 years, John, she is preceded in death by one son, James Williams; one grandson, Michael D. Williams; her parents.

Private family services will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2018. At the Parson Mortuary with Pastor John Clegg officiating Burial will follow at the Miller Cemetery in Middletown.
