Aaron Howard Hensley, age 58, passed away on January 7, 2023, at Community Hospital in Anderson.  He was born the son of James and Judy (Tomey) Hensley on July 12, 1964.  Aaron graduated from Muncie Southside High School.  He worked for Auxilio Bus Company in Muncie, Indiana, as a bus aide.  Aaron loved his job and working with the children on his bus.

Aaron was a sports fanatic, enjoying all types of sports but especially car racing.  He spent many days with his niece Hannah at local race tracks enjoying not only the racing but spending time with his best friend.  Aaron also enjoyed watching his great-nephew and niece playing baseball.  It can be easily said that family was of the utmost importance in his life.  His generous and kind spirit was well known, and he was described by his brother as having never met a stranger.  He would do anything for anyone and was friends from all walks of life.  Social status did not matter to him.

Aaron leaves behind to cherish his memory one brother; Ronald Hensley (Kathy), nieces; Melinda and Hannah Hensley, great-niece and nephew Klairity and Kolson Hensley, one aunt; Janet Kent, God daughter; Twilight Mathis as well as several special cousins.  In addition, he is survived by his lifelong friend Doug Kizer, special friends Buttons Brooks and Vicki McDaniel, and his beloved cat, Panther.

He was proceeded in death by two aunts; Cathy Tomey and Sandra Lange.

Services will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Industry United Methodist 1912 S. Mock, Muncie, Indiana.  Friends may call on the family from 12:00 noon until the time of the service.  Cremation will follow.
