Benjamin Alan Reemer of Muncie, Indiana passed away unexpectedly on September 5, 2023.

Ben was born on March 9, 1984, to Robert Reemer and Phyllis Throgmorton in Anchorage, Alaska. He grew into a sharp young adult and served our country through the Army for 10 years, including tours of duty overseas.  After an honorable discharge, Ben completed his Master's Degree from his beloved Indiana University and was most recently working as a supervisor for Kleenco Construction.

Ben was a genuinely good-hearted person. He loved to have a cheerful drink with friends and family, made conversation with strangers easily, and was a great person to have a laugh with. He enjoyed attending sporting events, was often seen supporting his favorite teams in IU and the Colts, and lived life on his own terms, enjoying the ride along the way. His biggest passion that brought him the most joy was spending time with his kids, playing and laughing, mostly because he never lost the ability to be a big kid at heart.

In 2021, Ben married the love of his life, Rachel Reemer, and they joined their blended family. His children include Hailie Bowlin, Isaac Reemer, Hayden Bowlin, Jaylen Reemer, Naomi Reemer, Brady Curtis, and Adrianna Curtis.

Ben was preceded in death by Robert E. Reemer (grandfather), Nancy Armstrong (grandmother), Russell Thorrington (grandfather), Nellie Thorrington (grandmother), and cousin Aaron.  He is survived by his grandmother Jennie Reemer, father Robert, mother Phyllis, stepmother Ronda Reemer, grandson Logan, sister Jackie Reemer, brother Bobby Reemer, nieces Kelcey, and Courtney, great-nieces Skyla and Macie, and other nieces.

Services will be held at Parson's Mortuary in Muncie, Indiana on Monday, September 11, 2023, at 10:00 AM.  Friends may call from 9:00 AM until the time of the service.
