Bernice Davis, 75, went home to be with her Lord early Friday morning, October 28, 2022, at her residence following an extended illness.  She was born on December 2, 1946 in Monticello, Kentucky the daughter of Arland and Lida Mae Stephens (West) Goodman.

Bernice attended Monticello Schools and later became a homemaker.  She enjoyed quilting, crafting, adult coloring books and playing Bingo.  She was known to have a strong faith in God and was a big gospel music fan.   Mostly, Bernice treasured any time she could have with her family.

Survivors include, two daughters, Serona West- Strunk (Jason), Parker City and Stacie Cook (Chad), Muncie; one son Steven Buck (fiancé' Cheyenne Grubb), Muncie; six grandchildren, Amber Gaddis (Garrett), Farmland, Brittney Robinson, Parker City, Benjamin Ponder, Jr., Anderson, Brandon West (Ashley), Selma, Leethan Dunn (Fiancé' Emily Gray), Muncie and Sierra Dunn (Fiance' Jarred Peages), Muncie; several great grandchildren.

Ms. Davis will be transferred to the care of Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home in Monticello, Kentucky for burial in the Parmelee's Grove Cemetery in Monticello, Kentucky at a later date.  Local care of Ms. Davis is being done by Parson Mortuary.
