Bobby Ray Corya, 74, of Muncie, Indiana, went home to be with the Lord on October 25, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 13, 1952, in Muncie to Bobby and Dorothy (Daily) Corya.

Throughout his life, Bobby enjoyed playing Euchre, Bingo, and Aggravation with family and friends. He also loved refinishing furniture in his younger years; he had a special love for animals and cherished spending time with his family. Bobby was also active in Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), where he created Recovery Rocks, sharing tokens with others and forming many meaningful friendships. He attended Christian Chapel Church and retired from BorgWarner, where he worked as a gear maker.

Bobby is survived by his sisters, Jackie Duncan, Carol Duncan (Gil), and Toni Westfall (Steve); his granddaughters, Maysa Corya and Marri Jefferis (Chase); his former wife, Brenda Corya; a special friend, Karla Lance; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Bradley Corya; and his brothers, Mike Haisley and Kevin Corya.

Funeral services will be held at Parson Mortuary on Friday, October 30, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Ted Stone officiating.
