Bonnie Sue Claflin, 81, of Muncie, Indiana, passed away on October 13, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 2, 1945, in Muncie to Everett and Wanda (Sims) Guinn.

Bonnie enjoyed crafting, traveling, and spending time at home. After retiring, she cherished the simple pleasures of life, including relaxing, visiting with friends and family, and enjoying time with those she loved.

Bonnie is survived by her children, Joey Rooney (Renee'), Michael Rooney, and Heather Claflin; her grandchildren, Anthony Rooney (Tina), Erica Barink (Luuk), Kierstyn Rooney, and Matthew Rooney (Brooke); and her great-grandchildren, Pheonix Rooney, Sullivan Barink, Parker Barink, and Marley Barink.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Wanda Guinn; her husband, Bill Claflin; and her sisters, Barbara Logan and Sally Sayne.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.
