Christy Ann Schenck, 43, passed away early on April 19, 2022, from a brief illness. She was born June 27, 1978, in Muncie, IN, the daughter of Gary and Judy (Clanin) Cook. She graduated from Muncie Southside High School and then went on to pursue a career as a beautician for over 20 years.

Christy's spare time was spent shopping with her family, especially at Bath and Body Works, spending time with family and friends, she was a great cook, and also enjoyed spending time at Anderson Speedway and Indianapolis Indian baseball games. She was married to Michael Schenck on October 10, 2020, but they have loved each other for more than 8 years.

Christy is survived by her husband, Michael Schenck, her parents Gary and Judy Cook, children; Issiah, Isaac, Makayla, Sylas Malpica, and Paige Schenck (Josh Dillion), a brother, Andrew Cook (Ashlee), nieces, Audrey and Aleena Cook, one grandchild due in June 2022 K'hari Walker and her dog Coco.

Christy is preceded in death by grandparents Marjorie and Bob Clanin.

Funeral services will be held at Parson Mortuary and Cremation center on Monday, April 25, 2022, from 11:00 am and services start at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow after services at Beech Grove Cemetery.
