Corey V Roach, 47 passed away after a short illness on December 7, 2022, at University Hospital, Indianapolis.

Corey was born May 20, 1975, in Muncie. He is a 1993 graduate of Muncie Central Highschool where he played varsity football and baseball. He graduated in 1997 from Ball State University where he continued playing baseball.

Corey had a love for high school and travel baseball. He loved spending time mentoring and teaching baseball to all ages. Corey was past president of Muncie Baseball and Softball Assoc. coaching the Muncie Chiefs, Varsity Head Coach at Muncie Central Highschool, Assistant Varsity Coach Delta Highschool, and many travel teams. Corey loved watching football supporting his favorite Michigan Wolverines and Buffalo Bills. He most cherished time spent with his two boys and wife.

Corey is survived by his high school sweetheart of 30 years, Julie Roach; two sons, Cooper and Jacob Roach; his beloved girls Lucy and Dara; his mother, Mary Jane Roach; brother, Matthew Roach (Kelley); father-in-law, David Wools; sister-in-law, Jennifer Gollifer (Brad); several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and all the young men he had the honor of coaching through the years.

Corey was preceded in death by his father, Dave Roach, mother-in-law, Joan Wools, Molly, and grandparents.

Friends and family may gather to remember Corey from 3:00 – 7:00 pm, Tuesday,  December 13, 2022, Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 14, at 11:00 am at Parson Mortuary. The family requests comfortable attire reflective of Corey.
