Dennis Lee Dillard Sr., 63, passed away at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital on December 27, 2022 due to an extended illness.  He was born on December 8, 1959 in Cook County, Illinois and was the son of Lowell Dillard and Dorothy Dillard (Jones).  Dennis worked as a construction worker remodeling homes for Ed Neal Home Repair for 35+ years.  He loved his kids and his grandkids and he also loved to fish.

Dennis is survived by a daughter, Amber Thayer; a son, Dennis Dillard; three brothers; six grandchildren Lacey Dillard, Matthew Thayer, Jacob Thayer, Noah Thayer, Gabe Johnson, and Mason McBroom.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Lowell Dillard and Dorothy Dillard (Jones).

Cremation was chosen by the family and is in the care of Parson Mortuary and Cremation Center.
