Dester Ray Gregory, 85, of Bronston, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on October 16th, 2023, to be with his loving wife, Elsie. While Dester was born in Kentucky and eventually retired there, he spent the majority of his adult life living, working, and raising his family in Muncie, Indiana.

Everyone who knew Dester knew how loving he was and how he treasured friends and family. He was full of positivity that was obvious to all. Dester was also an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and just observing nature. Our family is grateful to know that Dester is now at peace. We will miss him more than words can say.

Dester was predeceased by his parents, Earl and Vena, his wife Elsie, and two brothers, James and Carter. He is survived by three sisters, Dean, Faye, and Linda, two brothers, Freddy and Jimmy, his three children, Johnny, Eric, and Denise and eleven grandchildren.

Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 27th at Parson Mortuary in Muncie. Visitation will be from 11:30 AM until the time of the service, and burial will follow at Tomlinson Cemetery.  Rusty Clements will officiate.
