Donald W. Cavanaugh, age 75, of Winchester was born on March 18th,1947 in Muncie and was the son of the late Junior W. and Leona (Spoonemore) Cavanaugh. He entered his eternal home on October 16th,2022 in New Castle.

Don was a 1966 graduate of Muncie Central High and was an avid Bearcats fan. He retired from Delphi Corp. (formerly General Motors) in 2005 after over 30 years of service.

His Faith in God always came first, spending time with his family was second and helping others in need was third. He enjoyed golfing and bowling and was a fierce competitor in both.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory to his wife, Linda (Brown) Cavanaugh; two sons, Wayne (wife- Pam) and Mark (wife-Michelle); a daughter-in-law, Linda Cavanaugh ; step-children, Rebecca White, Joshua White,  and Kristina White; grandchildren including, Michael (Mackenzie) Cavanaugh, Brittany (Casey) Stults, Ashley Cavanaugh, Nathan (Haley) Cavanaugh, Chad and Isaiah White; several great grandchildren also survive. And the staff of Mrs. Wicks Pies, North Street Diner, and The House of Flavors.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by, a son Ray Cavanaugh; a sister Cheryl (Harold) Drummond.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am ,Tuesday, October 25th,2022 at the Parson Mortuary located 801W. Adams St. Muncie with Pastor Wes Comer officiating. Burial will follow at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Maxville. Friends may call on Monday from 4:00- 7:00pm and one hour prior to services on Tuesday at the Mortuary
