Donald R. Green, Sr., 67 went to see his Lord and Savior on Tuesday morning, August 9, 2022 at the Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.  He was born on February 18, 1955 in Monterey, Tennessee the son of Earnest Green and Betty (Todd) Green-Harter.

Donald attended Muncie Community Schools and later worked as a hod carrier and large equipment operator for Labor Union Local 1112.  He married Reatha (Reagan)Green in 2010 and she preceded him in death in 2017.  Mr. Green liked being outdoors and enjoyed fishing, camping and food of all kinds.  He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Marine Corps during the end of the Vietnam War Era.  He was a member of the American Legion Post #19 and the Laborer's Union Local 1112.  Though he wasn't a regular church attender, he recently had been baptized by Rev. Jerry Blevins and had a strong faith in his heavenly father.

Survivors include, one son, Donald Ray Green, Jr., Muncie; one granddaughter, Ray'Leigh Green, Muncie; three sisters, Anita Hamilton, Muncie, Tammy Taylor, Michigan and Kim Hyde, Ft. Wayne; two brothers, Danny Green, New Mexico and Darren Sharpe, Anderson; A special cousin, Glenda Bell, Muncie; a special aunt, Jeanie Sterling; don loved children very much and leaves several cousins, nieces and nephews to cherish his memory.

Besides his wife of seven years, Reatha, he was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation has been chosen with a private family gathering at a later date in time.  Parson Mortuary Cremation Center is entrusted with these arrangements.
