Ethel Shell, 96, died early Friday morning, November 4, 2022, at the Albany Health and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness.  She was born on January 29, 1926 in the daughter of Amos and Opal (Golden) Clouse.

Ethel married the love of her life, Raymond C. Shell in 1943 and he preceded her in death in 2013.  Ethel was a creative soul who left her mark on everything she touched.  She loved to bake, crochet and play the piano.  She played the piano/organ at various churches for over 50 years.  A devout Christian, she dedicated her life to her faith and her family.

Ethel is preceded in death by her beloved husband Raymond C. Shell, her children, Raymond M. Shell and Trudie M. Shell; one grandson, Christopher L. Shell and one great granddaughter, Patsy K. Shell.

She is survived by her grandson, Michael (Debbie) Shell; her granddaughter, Tiffani (Roby) Parker; great grandchildren, Chase Shell, Coulton Parker, Corey Parker, Chelcea Taylor, Kylie Shell and John Patterson; and several extended family members.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022, at 12:00 P.M. with Pastor Elisha Watson officiating.  Parson Mortuary is entrusted with these arrangements.
