Freida K. Hargis, 74, went to be with the lord on December 17, 2022 at 1:30 A.M. at her home following a sudden illness.  She was born on September 7, 1948 in Tennessee, the daughter of James Beaty and Betty Louise (Beaty) Morris.  They both preceded her in death.

Freida worked as a CNA, nurse at Chateau Nursing Home and Parkview for some time.  She was a member of the Mt. Olive Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors include two children, son John David Hargis II (wife Amy), daughter Daecha Ogle (Kim).  Ten grandkids, Trinton S. Ogle, Kimberlyn Lykins, Joshua M. Ogle, Preston Hargis, Kaitlyn Hargis, Peyton Hargis, Keaton Brock, Kirsten Hargis, Autumn Hargis, Adam G. Hargis II.  Five great grandkids, Trinton Ogle (T.J.), Joshua R. Ogle, Baylee Lykins, Journey Ogle, Kai Ogle.  Several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one son Adam G. Hargis, two sisters Jennifer Tracy and Ruth Warren, one brother Earl Beaty, and one niece Tonya Taylor Bell, and her parents James Beaty and Betty Louise (Beaty) Morris.
