G. Steve Garland, was born April 16th,1950 to Laymon and Flora Garland and older brother, Gail in Findley, Ohio. He passed away on June 22nd.,2022 at his home following a very long illness.

Steve was a very smart child and loved Math, Science, and Spelling B's in Elementary School. He loved all sporting events and watched them every time they were on television. He loved good 1950's food such as Maid Rites, Frisch's Big Boys, onion rings, French Fries, and sweets as well!.

His greatest love was Rock and Roll and going to Live concerts. He especially loved The Rolling Stones and had a tremendous collection of their music. He loved to swim at the Winchester pool and played golf in Winchester.

Steve was a 1968 graduate of Winchester High School and kept a close relationship with a lot of his classmates for life. He will miss and be missed by many classmates.

Steve worked at Marsh Supermarket's starting at the age of 16 years old as a carry out for Charlie Claspell. He trained over 200 Meat Apprentice's over the 43 and a half years of service. He retired as a Meat Manager at Hartford City because of his Health. He was a hard worker and expected his best everyday!.

He loved his music and his story telling was something else! . Steve would tell you his greatest blessing was his Family.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Karen (Smith) Garland ;  sons, Andrew Shane (wife-Tami )Garland, Michael (fiancé'-Kristina) Garland; a brother, Tim Garland ;  grandchildren, Alexa, Katie, Keegan, Melody, Bethany; two great grandchildren, Julian and Marcee; two nieces Tabetha and Abbey; two nephews, Garrison and Seth; sister-in-law, Sharon; brother-in-law, Alan Fisher ; Many aunts, uncles, and dear friends. He loved you all so much.

Steve was a hard working young man, mowing 20-30 yards, caddying at the golf course, and also delivering newspapers with his buddy Zeka, on a 20" inch bicycle all over town. He also worked at Campbell's Soup and at  Wick"s pies in Winchester too!
