George Edwin Fehrenbach Sr., age 79 of Muncie, passed away peacefully at his residence Tuesday afternoon, June 21st, 2022 following an extended illness. He was born June 28th, 1942, in Muncie and was the son of the late Charles and Martha (Wentz) Fehrenbach.

George was a veteran of the United States Army and later retired from Colonial Bakery after nearly twenty-five years as a machine operator.

He is survived by his wife, Ellen (Roberts) Fehrenbach; daughter, Robin (husband- William) Cooper, son, George Fehrenbach Jr., daughter, Angela (husband- Ronnie) Flowers all of Muncie; a half-brother, Charlie (wife-Rhonda) Fehrenbach of Liberty Center, Ohio; a half-sister, Susie Bostelman of Florida; five grandchildren including, Danielle, Angela, Kathy, Tasha, and Nathan; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild on the way.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby; and a sister, Barb.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 28th, 2022 at the Parson Mortuary located at 801 W. Adams Street in Muncie. Preacher Mark Reynolds will officiate. Burial will follow at Beech Grove Cemetery in Muncie. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
