Gilbert O. Westerman, 78, went to his heavenly home on Saturday morning, May 21, 2023, at the Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital following an extended illness.   He was born January 29, 1945, to Gilbert E. Westerman and Minnie (Huntington) Westerman in Osgood, Indiana.

He married his only love, Diana (Brown) Westerman on January 8, 1971.  He worked in several factories.  He was Co-owner of G&D Floor Maintenance with his wife for several years.  Mr. Westerman was a member of both the Christian Biblical Church of God and The International Church of God organizations.  Gilbert enjoyed fishing, camping, and mostly, spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife Diana Westerman.  Survivors also include a son, Dale Westerman (Karen) of Illinois.  Daughters, Bonita Richman (Randall) of Oregon and Barbara Greer of Indiana.  Brother William Lewis of Indiana.  Sisters, Rita Craig of Indiana and Dodie Hanson of Florida.  10 Grandchildren and 7 Great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was proceeded in death by his parents and 2 brothers Carl Westerman and John Westerman.

Cremation has been chosen with a private family gathering at a later date.  Parson Mortuary Cremation Center is entrusted with these arrangements.
