Gregory Scott Christopher, 36, of Parker City, Indiana, finished his earthly journey on August 18, 2026. He was born on May 17, 1990, in Fort Hood, Texas, to Greg Christopher and Kristi Sockol (Mullins).

Gregory was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend. Above all else, he loved his family. His wife and children were the center of his world, and he always put his family first. He was especially proud to be a girl dad and cherished every moment spent watching his children participate in sports, dance recitals, and gymnastics. His children brought him immeasurable joy, and he treasured the memories they made together.

Gregory had many interests and hobbies. He loved anime and video games and was a huge Ohio State fan. He also took great pride in his work as a plumber, a profession that brought him tremendous joy and satisfaction.

Faith was an important part of Gregory's life. He attended Union Chapel for a time. His faith remained a core part of who he was, and one of his most meaningful experiences was being baptized alongside his older daughter. He found great comfort and strength in his relationship with the Lord.

Gregory was also a member of the Legion in Selma and valued the friendships and connections he made throughout his life. He will be remembered for the love he had for his family, his devotion to his children, and the many lives he touched along the way.

Gregory is survived by his beloved wife, Dawn Christopher; his children, Addison, Chloe, Alexis, Annsley, Arya, and Amelia; his parents, Kristi Sockol (Chuck) and Greg Christopher (Shelley); his in-laws, Nora and Randy Riley; his siblings, Haley Christopher, Grant Christopher, Nancy Hunt (Dave), Lois Anguiano, Teddy Hunt (Amy), and Ashley Velasco; his grandparents, Lou Ashley (Dave), Randy Christopher (Donna), and Cora Nuttle; several special nieces and nephews who meant the world to him; Aunts, uncles; Mark Mullins (Katy), Heather Hogg (Trevor), Michelle Sanchez, Randy Christopher Jr. (Pam), Aimee Christopher-Blevins (Dean), many cousins that were adored.

He was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Alisha Plank, and his great-grandparents.

Gregory leaves behind a legacy of love that will live on through his wife, his children, and all those who were fortunate enough to know him. Though his time here was far too short, the love he gave so freely will remain in the hearts of his family and friends forever.

Funeral services will be held at Parson Mortuary on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. Visitation will be held at Parson Mortuary from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. A Procession will then follow from the funeral home to Selma Bible Baptist Church for a family and friends gathering and lunch.
