Gregory Lee Rhodes, 65, left this life on Friday, September 1, 2023, at the IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital following an illness.  He was born on August 11, 1958, in Muncie the son of Jessee Harold Rhodes and Nadine Agatha (Alfont) Fourman.  He is preceded in death by his parents.

Greg graduated from Wes-Del High School in 1976 where he was both quarterback on the football team and Center on the basketball team.  Greg held the Wes-Del football title of most combined yardage until 2020.  Greg held that honor for 44 years before his record was broken.  Greg was a musician and had a band called Dark Horse and other bands as well, they could be seen entertaining at many local venues.

He was self-employed and had his own excavation company for several years.

Cremation has been chosen.  Parson Mortuary Cremation Center is entrusted with these arrangements.  Private thoughts and prayers are appreciated.
