Gregory "Greg" Levoye Jones, 70, left this life Monday, April 15, 2024, at his residence following a brief illness.  He was born on May 8, 1953, in Muskegon, Michigan the son of Bobby Gene Jones and Betty (VandenBosch) Jones-Miller and Charles Jake Miller.

Mr. Jones became an ASC Certified Automotive Mechanic at an early age, worked for the Ford Dealership, and eventually became self-employed at Jones Automotive for many years and retired in 2005.  He enjoyed fishing, following NASCAR especially the Bush brothers (Kyle and Kurt), having a cold beer, and playing cards.  Greg treasured the times he could be with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren the most.

Survivors include four children, Shane Jones (Katie), Westfield, Misty Jones, and Brett Jones, both of Muncie, and John Cox (Amy), Geneva; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his mother, Betty Miller, Muncie; two brothers, Troy Jacob Miller, Alexandria and Jeffery Miller (Laura), Yorktown; one sister, Tamara Sparks (David) Ravenna, Ohio; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and stepfather; one brother, Vance Steven Jones on September 11, 2017.

Cremation is being done with a private family gathering at a later date.  Parson Mortuary Cremation Center is entrusted with these arrangements.
