Harold Richard (Dick) Corya passed away on Friday, June 23rd, 2023, at the age of 79.

The son of the late Harold and Ruth Corya. Dick was born on August 22, 1943, in Fort Wayne, IN He attended Muncie Central HS, and graduated in 1961.

He joined the Navy in 1961 and served as Damage Control Man on the USS Valley Forge. He sailed tours to Vietnam delivering troops and weapons. He was honorably discharged as Third-Class Petty Office after three years in the service.

After returning to the States, he married his wife Lee on June 11th, 1969, in Muncie. He professionally drove a semi for multiple companies. Most notably of which, he was a driver at Fred's Frozen Foods for many years. He also had over 5 million miles accident-free.

After retiring from driving, he spent his time with his family and friends. He enjoyed working with his hands and building things in his shop. He also loved his two cats, Snooki and Pickles

He is preceded in death by his wife Lee, whom he was married to for 52 years, and parents Harold & Ruth Corya. Siblings William Corya (Judy), Kay (Rolland) Joy, and Theodore Corya.

He is survived by his daughter, Mindy Huffman (Eric), Muncie; son, Mark Corya, Van Wert, Ohio; son, Matthew Corya, California; three grandchildren, Evan Huffman (Megan), Alexandria, Kentucky, Cory Huffman (Kassandra), Nashville, Tennessee and Cooper Huffman, Muncie; 5 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces & nephews.

Per his wishes, there will be no services.
