Harry W. Rawlins Sr., 90, of Winchester, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his family, following an extended illness.  He was born on August 25, 1932, in Scioti County, Ohio, the son of Guy Rawlins and Flora Smith Rawlins.

Harry was drafted for the U.S. Army during the Korean War.  He married the love of his life Wilma Jean Foreman on June 11, 1952.  Mr. Rawlins worked for Anchor Hocking Glass for 40 years prior to his retirement.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Wilma, of 70 years, one son, Harry W. Rawlins Jr., one daughter,  Tracy L. Jones, and one granddaughter,  Natalie R. Carney. Harry was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Sammy J. Rawlins, and four brothers and 6 sisters.  Our family would like to thank the staff at Everheart Hospice for their wonderful care.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at 12 noon, at Parson Mortuary, 801 W. Adams, Muncie, Indiana.  Friends may call on the family from 11:00 AM until the time of the service.  Pastor Robert Rawlins will officiate.  Cremation will take place prior to the service.
