Howard Ervin Journay III, 60, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday evening, September 28th, 2022.  He was born on December 31st, 1961, in Muncie and was the son of Charles and Wanda Musick. Howard was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars, racing go-karts, and playing softball. He graduated from Muncie Central High School and was a concrete finisher for many years. Howard will be remembered for his laugh, contagious personality, one-of-a-kind sense of humor, and his heart of gold. He will be forever missed by all who knew him. Howard is survived by his longtime companion Sheri Rees; his mother Wanda Musick; six siblings Tina Gregory (Dewayne), Heidi Jones (John), Joe Journay (Holly), Linda Holding (Harold), Chuck Musick (Nancy), Jimmy Musick (Nikki) and bonus brother Roberto Davila; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Howard was preceded in death by his father, Charles Musick, and his grandparents, Willa Mae and Francis VanNatta. Funeral services for Howard will be held on Tuesday, October 4th, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Parsons Mortuary 801 W. Adams, Muncie Indiana with Pastor Rick Monroe officiating. Family and friends may call from 12:00 PM until the time of service at 1:00 PM.
