Jack Edward Jeffris, 53, passed away Sunday evening, February 26, 2023, at the Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.  He was born on June 9, 1969, in Muncie the son of James Thomas and Velma Jeanine (Hahn) Jeffris, Sr.

Jack had attended both the Cowan and Muncie Community Schools and was known to be an excellent shade tree mechanic for both cars and lawnmowers.  He also enjoyed grilling out food and being with his fur babies, Emma Rose, Ava Grace, and Daisy.  Fishing was also a favorite pastime whenever possible.  Mr. Jeffris had worked in the furniture rental industry having served both Chappy's Furniture and Aarons Furniture.

Survivors include his daughter, Kylie E. Jeffris, Stanley, North Carolina; his Companion, Lucinda "Cindy" Davis, Parker City; two stepdaughters, Brittany Stewart (Michael Hennessey), Muncie and Jacklynn Sailers, Muncie; seven grand and step-grandchildren, Damien Wright, Jaxton Jeffris, Jayden Stewart, Jay-Lynn, Brian and Jordan Hannis, and Kinslee Harvey; several siblings; several nieces and nephews; his adopted mother, Mary (Tracy) Jeffris.

He was preceded in death by his parents and adopted father who was also his brother, Thomas, Jr., and five additional siblings.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, March 6, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. at Beech Grove Cemetery with Celebrant Craig Malone officiating.
