James H Shaffer

James H Shaffer, 80, of Redkey Indiana, passed away on October 31, 2022.

"The most profound joy in life can be found by putting a little joy into someone else's" This quote is the embodiment of Jim Shaffer.

You may have encountered Jim through his vast travels, as a customer of the Beech Grove Meat Market, or simply as friend and family member.

No matter the capacity in which you encountered Jim, I am sure he put a little joy into your life.

Jim, graduated from Royerton High School class of 1959. He played baseball for Royerton. He then went into the United States Navy. Jim went on to work for O'Malia's Market in Carmel until he became co-owner of Beech Grove Meat Market along with Ken Tickle until 2007. He has spent his last years in life serving all of his family everyday Jim brought food, candy and gifts to all putting that joy into our lives.

He is survived by his sister, Janet Little (husband,William), Brothers Clyde Shaffer Sr. (wife, Ginger), Monte Shaffer-deceased (wife, Betty).

Niece's

Jodi Little, Shellie Cash (husband,Tom), Tonia Coulter (husband, Mike). Nephews, Clyde Shaffer Jr. (wife Sandy), Terry Shaffer (wife, Shelley).

There are many Great Niece's, Nephew's and cousins.

At Jim's request, there will be a small private family celebration of his life.   Parson Mortuary Cremation Center is entrusted with the disposition of the remains.
