James Andrew Thomas, 55, passed away early Thursday morning, April 21, 2022, at his residence following an extended illness.  He was born on December 2, 1966 in Muncie the son of Henry Thomas and Julia Thormbro

James graduated from Muncie Northside High School in 1984 and married the love of his life Belinda (Johnson) Thomas and she survives.  Mr. Thomas enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1987 and was honorably discharged in 1989 having served as a Food Service Specialist while stationed in Korea.  He enjoyed fishing celebrating July 4th especially white watching fireworks at Central High School, enjoyed camping, hunting and watching war movies.  He also enjoyed spending time with his fur babies.

Besides his wife Belinda, he is survived by three children, May Harty (Jeff), Brittany Thomas and Austin Thomas; two grandchildren, Michael Harty and Faith Harty; his mother Julia Thormbro; one brother, Larry Thomas; cousins, Joan Banks (Ron), Mike Austin; Care givers Cheyanne Bonebroke (Daniel).

He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Thomas; two brothers, Michael and Eugene Thomas.

Cremation has taken place with a private family gathering to take place at a later date.  Parson Mortuary Cremation Center is entrusted with these arrangements.
