James William Vance Jr., age 63, of Muncie, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on July 24th, 2022. A Lifelong resident of Muncie, he was born December 22, 1958 in Muncie and was the son of the late James Vance Sr. and his Mother, Joyce (Gray) Taylor of Muncie.

He was retired from Duffy Tool and Die after 28 years where he served as a Machinist.

James is survived by his Mother Joyce and Step-Dad ,John Taylor of Muncie ; His companion for many years, Virginia Enochs of Muncie ; Three daughters, Ashley Vance, Erin Vance, and Amy Vance; Three grandchildren, Craig Phillips Jr., Alyssa Smith, and Damien Alexander.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Vance Sr.; Step-Father, Everett Burris ; grandmother, Mildred Gray; grandmother, Anna Miller ; grandfather, Melvin Gray; uncle Wayne Gray; aunt Mary Jo Edwards.

A Memorial service will be held 1:00 pm, Wednesday, August 3rd,2022 at the Parson Mortuary located 801 W. Adams st. Muncie. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12:00 Noon till service time at the Mortuary
