Janet Rene' Barnhouse, 62, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2022 at IU Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana following an extended illness. She was born on August 1, 1959 in Muncie, the daughter of Nelda "Jean" (Sells) Lehman and Richard Barnhouse.

Janet graduated with a degree in Human Resources and worked general jobs in restaurants prior to her disability. She enjoyed being around her family and cared deeply for her grandchildren and helping people when they were in need.

Survivors include her daughter Tomi Barnhouse, brother; Kenny Barnhouse, Niece; Kelly Barnhouse, two nephews; Jason Barnhouse and Charles Payne, grandchildren; Journey Ann and Nova-Jean, four great-nephews, and a great-niece, Uncle Bud, Companion William Edwards "Bucky", and best friend Myron Warfel.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Jean (Sells) Lehman, Richard Barnhouse, sister; Paulette Payne, and uncle; Charles Thomas Sells "Tommy".

Cremation is being done with a private family gathering at a later date. Parson Mortuary Cremation Center is entrusted with these arrangements.
