Jeffery L. Green, 66, of Muncie,  passed away on March 18, 2022, surrounded by his family, after a courageous battle with ALS. Jeff was born on December 21, 1955 in Muncie to the late Robert Green, and Sharon (Green) Gross. He attended Northside High School. Jeff worked at Marsh Supermarket for many years. He worked as a Correctional Officer at Pendleton Correctional Facility since 1996. Jeff had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to make people laugh.  He would often make jokes that made his family shake their heads.  He enjoyed watching the Indianapolis Colts, spending time with his beloved pets, Lucy and Charlie, and being with family. Jeff is survived by his loving wife of almost 32 years, Terri Green; his daughters, Lisa (Keith) Haza and Joni Hovis; three grandchildren, Jaylynn Hovis, Lily Haza and Violet Haza; three siblings, Steven (Judy) Green, Tim Green and Randy Green; mother-in-law Mary Huffman, brother-in-law Bob (Lora) Huffman; the mother of his daughter, Kathleen Crawley, and several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Aunt Carol and Kelly Simmons for their caring help; and whomever else touched his life during this illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, his father-in-law Charles (Bob)Huffman and his nephew and best friend Michael Green.
