Jeffery D. "Jesse" Gurganus, 56, of Bradenton, Florida, completed his life's journey on July 31, 2026.

Born on May 2, 1970, in Orange County, California, Jeffery was the beloved son of Arthur and Linda (Coleman) Gurganus.

Jeffery found joy in the simple things that made life meaningful. He loved listening to blues music, working on cars, spending time at the beach with those he loved, and relaxing at home. Whether enjoying a quiet day together or gathering with friends, Jesse treasured the moments shared with the people closest to him.

He will be lovingly remembered by his longtime girlfriend, Angela Conwell; his children, Jason Gurganus, Allison Gurganus, Paige Edwards, and Jeffery Gurganus; his aunt and uncle, Jerry and Janet Gurganus; and his sidepiece, Jenny.

Jesse was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Linda Gurganus.

Though he is no longer with us, Jesse's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for the time, laughter, and love he shared with family and friends.
