Jerilyn Jo Atkinson was born September 20, 1958, in Winchester, Indiana, the daughter of Jacque E. Paul and Joyce A. (Hancock) Ginn. She passed away on June 28, 2023, in Muncie, Indiana, at the age of 64.

Jerilyn worked for Ball Memorial Hospital for over 20 years. She was active in church most of her life – attending services and sending cards to the congregation. She enjoyed crafting and always had a hobby: soap-making, candle-making, jewelry, stained glass, mosaics, wreaths, clay figurines, and so much more! She loved playing Scrabble, watching Hallmark movies, and visiting with her daughter and grandchildren (including her grand-dogs).

Jerilyn was an avid animal lover and often donated to local shelters. She leaves behind three cats of her own: Bobby, Chloe, and Gracie.

Jerilyn is survived by her daughter: Cherlyn Lambert; three grandsons: Dakotah, Preston, and Ashton Lambert; one brother: Jeffery Jay Paul; two sisters-in-law: Fay Paul (Jay) and Mary Paul (Kim); a number of nieces, including Ashley Miller, Hope Paul, Hannah Harrell, and Ann Monroe; and many great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Jacque Evans Paul and Joyce Ann (Hancock) Ginn; and a brother: Jerrell Kim Paul.

Donations toward her cats' veterinary care can be made directly to Kurtz Veterinary Clinic in Hagerstown, IN. (Cats are listed under her daughter's name for care.)
