John J. Gilland 83, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2022. He was born in Muncie the son of John C. & Leona Pearl (Sheppard) Gilland. He was a graduate of Royerton High School, and he served in the Indiana National Guard. He worked as a Special Events Manager for Pepsi-Cola, and Route Salesman at Seyfert's where he retired from, and then he went back to work at Mid-State Vending. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Peggy, 2 daughters Judy & Belinda, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents & his sister Lois Sizelove. At his request, there will be no services.
