Joseph D. Anacker, 71, passed from this life on Friday evening, April 28, 2023, at his residence unexpectantly.  He was born on August 8, 1951, in Muncie. the son of Donald Everett and Mary Margaret (Monroe) Anacker.

Joseph graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1969 and later became a Tool & Die Maker for Duffy Tool & Die where he worked until they closed in 2009.  He enjoyed playing pool doing computer work, puzzles, and putting things together.    He treasured the time he could spend with his family and friends.

Survivors include one brother, Sigumond Anacker, Muncie; a special niece, Angelica Goltstein (Rob), Winchester; a Special great nephew, Anthony Goltstein at home; several nieces and nephews.

His parents and five siblings, Lucy, Robert, Waunalda, Richard, and Don preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. at Parson Mortuary with Pastor Larry Waters officiating.  Burial will follow at Fountain Park Cemetery, Winchester.

Friends may call at Parson Mortuary on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, from 12:00 P.M.  until the time of service.
