Josephine Louise Clevenger, age 101, passed away in the early morning hours of April 7, 2023, surrounded by family at Muncie Estates, in Muncie Indiana.  Josephine was born on March 29, 1922, in Muncie, the daughter of F. Walter and Elizabeth (McKittrick) Leudemann.

She attended Muncie Central High School and later worked for Marsh Supermarkets.  Josephine married John Clevenger and had two sons, Larry Dean, and Charles "Bud" Clevenger.  She was a member of the Riverside United Methodist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Josephine is survived by one son, Charles "Bud" Clevenger (Eleanor), as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, F. Walter and Elizabeth Leudemann, husband, John Clevenger, and one son, Larry Dean Clevenger.

Funeral services will be Thursday, April 13, 2023, at 10:00 AM, at Parson Mortuary, 801 W. Adams, Muncie, Indiana.  Friends may call from 9:00 AM until the time of the service.  Burial will follow at Elm Ridge Cemetery.  Chaplain Phil Rodgers will officiate.
