Joyce Elaine Brown 73, passed away on January 1, 2023. She was born to Aubrey and Lois (Arnold) Patterson on October 18, 1949.

She graduated from Lincoln Park High School in 1967.

Joyce is survived by a brother; Aubrey O. Patterson Jr. (Valerie), half-sister; Ruth Ellen (Patterson) Lephart, daughters; Kathy (Brown) Hayes, April (Brown) Cowan, Olivia Brown, a son; Al Burgess grandchildren; Steven and James Hayes, Justin Harding, Elonnie Tiitii, Nathan Burgress, Brittany Harding, Aubrey Cowan, Christianera Tiitii, Stacy (Burgess) Walker, great-grandchildren; Jalei Harding, Madison, and Dawson Hayes, Aidan Richardson, special friends; Mose Tanuvasa, Tamara Rampage, Jaid Rose, Michelle Flowers, and Mike Hale.

Joyce is preceded in death by her husband James Melvin Brown, father; Aubrey O. Patterson Sr., mother; Lois A. Patterson, sister;  Patricia (Patterson) Hoff, half-brother; John Patterson, and half-sister; Bonnie (Patterson) Lephart.

Funeral Services will be held at Parson Mortuary on Saturday, January 7, 2023, visitation will start at 1:00 pm until services at 2:00 pm.
