Joyce Elaine Gulley, 77, of Selma, Indiana, passed away peacefully at her residence on July 8, 2026, surrounded by loving family. She was born on August 26, 1948, in Muncie, Indiana.

A lifelong resident of Selma, Joyce graduated from Selma High School and spent her life surrounded by the community and family she loved. She dedicated many years to caring for others and retired from Jarden after 18 years of service.

Joyce found great joy in spending time with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed playing bingo with her brother, Leonard, and treasured every opportunity to gather with those she loved. Known for her kind heart, Joyce was a beautiful lady whose bright spirit could light up any room. Her compassion, generosity, and love for others will be remembered by everyone who knew her.

Joyce is survived by her fiancé, Rick Spears; her children, Frederick Gulley, Shannon Gulley (Geneva), and Tony Gulley (Carrie); her brother, Leonard Cook; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; her beloved dog, Beauty; several nieces and nephews, and her special friend Karen.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Juanita; her sisters, Regina Pfohl and Diane Bungalo; her brother, Dennis Cook; and her first husband, Frederick Gulley.

A celebration of Joyce's life will be held at a later date. Her family will announce details when they become available.

Joyce's love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family will forever remain in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.
