Judith Ann Phipps, age 77 of Muncie passed away Monday evening May 23rd,2022 at the

Waters Edge Village in Muncie following an extended illness. She was born on Nov.23rd, 1944

In Muncie and was the daughter of the late Eber Bryant and Wahnetta (York) Dixon.

A homemaker most of her life she also was a Self-employed worker in Daycare.

She is survived by two grandsons; Tyler and Travis Bryant; one Great-grandson, Bodie Bryant all of Muncie, two sisters; Alfretta (husband- Dick) Ellis of Yorktown, Sue Jones of Orleans, In.; Two brothers, Fred Dixon of Portland, In., Larry Dixon of Arizona.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lyle Phipps in 2005; a son Scottie Bryant; One sister, Phyllis Landers; Seven brothers; Paul Bryant, Harold Kirby, Gordon Kirby, Lowell Haskins, Ed, Jim, and Rick Dixon.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 27th, 2022, 1: 00 PM at the Parson Mortuary and Cremation Center at 801 Adams Street, Muncie with Pastor James Sandberg officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Ridge Cemetery in Muncie. Friends may call on Friday from 11:00 AM till service time.
