Judy Coffey, 75, passed away Tuesday afternoon, April 4, 2023, at Morrison Woods Health Campus following an extended illness.  She was born on September 13, 1947, in Muncie, the daughter of Paul and Wanda V. (Storie) Williams.

Judy graduated from Muncie Southside High School in 1965 and later married the love of her life, Bravil Coffey on December 28, 1982, and he preceded her in death on March 23, 2015.  Mrs. Coffey had worked in the cafeteria of the Claypool Elementary School for approximately 10 years prior to working as a Clinical Secretary for Ball Memorial Hospital for 33 ½ years prior to her retirement in 2006.  She was a member of the East 18th St. Wesleyan Church, (where she taught Sunday School and was the Church Treasurer for several years), and the Avondale Sympathy Club.  Judy enjoyed reading, shopping, traveling and being with her family and church family, and sharing The Lord.

Survivors include one son, Terry Coffey (Karen), Springport; one granddaughter, Heidi Coffey, Springport three sisters, Brenda Wallace, Muncie, Linda Burke (Terry), Yorktown, and Debbie Leicht (Steve), Muncie; two half-sisters, Marvaline Garrett, Muncie, Pauline Bilbry (Herbert, Jr.) Muncie; several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband of 33 years, Bravil, she was preceded in death by her parents; two nephews Brett Campbell and Jimmy Campbell, and half-siblings, Lorene Sparks, Ray Williams, Sarah Jennings, and Irene Bell; Stepfather, Charles Keele; brother-in-law, Jimmie Ray Wallace; Step-brother, David Williams.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at Parson Mortuary at 12:30 P.M.  with Pastor Paul Walden officiating.  Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery north of Muncie.

Friends may call Parson Mortuary on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, from 10:30 A.M. until the time of service.
