Kristi Ann Steiner (Kris), age 73, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2022 at 11:45am, following a short battle with cancer. She was born August 12, 1948, in Anderson, Indiana to Robert Steiner and Geraldine Steiner Tomlinson. Kris was known for her warmth of heart. She loved both of her cats, Callie Sue and Kody Blue (Fat Cat). Anyone that knew her, knew that she would rather be at the beach on Sanibel Island, Florida. She also expressed love to her grandchildren through foods such as vegetable soup, fudge, and Chex mix. She loved watching sports especially the Pacers, Colts, and Hoosier basketball. Kris is survived by her 3 daughters: Dawn (Glen) Peckinpaugh, Candace Gibson (Jonathan Kidd), Angie (Jamie) Waymire; her step-son: Austin Kennedy; her grandchildren: Justin (Jennifer) Peckinpaugh, Dacey Gibson, and Dalen Gibson, Aiden Kennedy, Karson Kennedy and Kamden Kennedy; great-grandchild: Remilia Peckinpaugh. All of whom she loved and touched deeply. She is preceded in death by both her parents; Robert Steiner and Geraldine Steiner Tomlinson and her grandson; Garrett Jordan Gibson. Please join us celebrating her life Sunday, March 27, 2022, between 1 pm to 5 pm at American Legion Post 437, 315 S Albany, Selma, Indiana. There will be a small ceremony that will be held 1 pm-2 pm.
