Lena Greer went home to be with her Savior on May 12, 2023.  Lena was born on January 2, 1928, in Salt Lick, Kentucky.

She loved her family and was frequently surrounded by them.  That's when she was her happiest.  Lena was a lover of music, quilting, cooking, and westerns.  To know her was to love her and she was often found laughing and reminiscing of days gone by.  She leaves behind a great legacy of love and family.

Left to cherish her memory until we see her again are her children; Daryl (Sue) Greer, Brenda (Vernon) Harrison, and Tim Greer; grandchildren, Shaun Greer, Anthony Tremaine, Sara (Kevin) Mastin, Brent (Suzy) Greer, and Matthew (Rachel) Greer; 10 great-grandchildren; and many other family members, including her nieces and nephews, whom she kept close to her heart.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billie Greer; her parents, Clyde and Lizzie Norris; her seven siblings, Buck, Mayme, Artie, Sylvie, Medford, Carrie, and Gib; and a grandchild, Phillip Greer.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. at Parson Mortuary with Pastor Shelley Dennis officiating.  Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery north of Muncie.
